Washington Realty Group, Inc. (“WRG”) is celebrating its GOLDEN ANNIVERSARY.  WRG was founded in on January 13, 1973 in Washington, DC and soon established itself as a successful developer of commercial real estate. From its inception through 1984, Washington Realty Group, Inc. successfully developed office, retail, medical, and residential projects in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. The development success allowed WRG, in 1985, at a high point in the real estate market, to sell a majority its holdings as well as the development arm of the company. At the time, WRG became a non-conflicted tenant/buyer advocate, representative and consultant, taking full advantage of its development experience in all aspects of commercial real estate activities - acquisitions, pre-development, site assemblage, development, sales, financing, leasing, property management, construction, construction management and architectural/space planning.

In addition, in the decades since, WRG has continually expanded and actually has morphed into a holding company controlling a variety of entities engaged in multiple commercial and entrepreneurial endeavors in both real estate and other industries as varied as energy, finance, and manufacturing.
